When Does a Refrigerator Stop Defrosting?

   It is a common belief that modem refrigerators will defrost themselves. While that is how it works in principle, some users can open their refrigerator door and be surprised to find ice and frost, indicating that the refrigerator has not been defrosted. It can be a nuisance and you will have to resolve the issue or your fridge can turn into a winter theme park. There are common problems and simple fixes to such issues.    You can inspect and see if the blow problem exists in your Refrigerator:    Defrost Control Board malfunction If the circuit board fails, the refrigerator will not defrost itself. You may need technical help to diagnose and replace this.   Faulty Defrost Timer If the defrost timer is faulty, the defrost cycle may not begin or may not send power to the defrost heater during the defrost cycle.
